Wedding
Lisa & Logan – Kumeu Valley Estate
Logan proposed to Lisa in NY, up on the Empire State: “On my 30th Birthday Logan got down on one knee up the Empire State Building” – goodnes!! How amazing !!!! ♡♡♡ They met earlier when Logan moved into a flat with two of Lisa’s closest friends.
THE BEST PART OF THE PLANNING was our professionally choreographed Charleston-esque dance! Thanks to the fabulous Sue at River City Ballroom in West End, Brisbane.
WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO get professional dancing lessons with your fiancé! You’ll have so much fun in the lead up to the wedding and you can impress people on the day with some cool moves rather than awkwardly shuffling around the floor!
OUR COLOUR PALETTE was Purple, Lilac and Silver
FOR OUR DECORATION we incorporated a 1920’s twist to our wedding day, including a vintage style lolly buffet, a photo table/area with an old suitcase bearing 1920’s props (boas, cigarette holders, fedora hats and flapper headbands etc.), vintage looking disposable cameras for guests to take pics, hanging lanterns, and an array of vintage jars/bottles with candles and flowers. We also had some cute small vintage milk bottles containing pink sparkling grapefruit juice and white and pink straws.

Award Winning 2012
After 5 years, finally I decided it was time to enter the NZIPP Awards. Honestly don’t know why it took me soooo long (…..well, maybe I secretly know).
As I’ve said it before, sending photos for a competition is always hard, difficult and even nerve wrecking as I normally feel bit lost on which ones to submit. What happens is that I choose one image and the next day I decide: why not compare it with another one??? …. and so on. So yeah! my poor little brain can get very tired and dizzy of seeing them ALL DAY!
Very happy with the results and can’t be more inspired on this new season to come!!
